How to Send Your Luggage to Bag2Gate

Send your luggage to our Osaka location

Book your Bag2Gate service first. After checkout, use the address and booking number below to send your luggage from your hotel or another location in Japan. Hotel collection is not included.

Before you send

Write your Bag2Gate order number and your name on a tag attached to every bag.
Keep your passport, valuables, medication and anything you need during your trip with you.
Ask your hotel front desk to arrange delivery if you need help. Allow enough time for domestic delivery.
Choose prepaid shipping (元払い). Cash on delivery (着払い) is not accepted.

Show this Japanese card to your hotel front desk

The card is for hotel staff. Please show it on your phone. Fill in your own Bag2Gate order number and passport name before showing it.

Send by the arrival deadline

Your luggage must arrive at our Osaka location by 12:00 noon Japan Standard Time (JST), two calendar days before your KIX flight departure. This is the arrival deadline, not the day to send it from your hotel. We dispatch your luggage from Osaka to KIX on that same day. Do not send your luggage before your booking is confirmed.

After you send your luggage

Keep your Yamato receipt or shipping record and note the tracking number.
Submit the carrier, tracking number, bag count and your order number using the shipment report form.
We will match the incoming parcel to your booking and notify you when it arrives.

Collect your luggage at KIX

At the designated Yamato counter at Kansai International Airport, show your Yamato tracking number and passport. For the Osaka-to-KIX airport shipment, Bag2Gate will enter your name as the sender. The sender name must match the name on your passport. We will use the passport name and phone number you provide in your booking, together with our Osaka location as the sender address. You do not need to upload or send us a passport copy.

Collect your luggage at the Yamato counter before airline check-in. The counter is not your boarding gate. Allow time to collect your luggage and check it in with your airline.
